Austin, Minn.—Cooperative Response Center, Inc. (CRC) is pleased to announce the six recipients of its 2018 scholarship program, each awarded $1,000 for their post-secondary education costs. This year’s scholarship recipients are as follows:
Mason Colton, the son of CRC employee Mark Colton, is a 2018 graduate of Linn-Mar High School in Marion, Iowa. Mason will attend Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and plans to pursue a degree in accounting and finance.
Sam Guadarrama is a 2018 graduate of Cooper High School in Abilene. Sam plans to attend the University of Houston in Houston, Texas, to study business management.
Victoria Keener, the daughter of CRC employee Tessa Keener, is a 2018 graduate of Sequatchie County High School in Dunlap, Tenn. Victoria will attend Chattanooga State Community College in Chattanooga, Tenn., and plans to become an elementary school teacher working with special needs children.
Carlie Lefebvre, the daughter of CRC employee Cindy Lefebvre, is a 2018 graduate of Van Buren County High School in Spencer, Tenn. She will attend Motlow Community College in McMinnville, Tennessee, to pursue a degree in early childhood education.
Caitlyn Rogers, the daughter of CRC employee Anna Rogers, is also a 2018 graduate of Sequatchie County High School. She will attend Chattanooga State Community College and plans to become a registered nurse.
Paiton Schwab, is a 2018 graduate of Austin High School in Austin. Paiton will attend the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in the fall to study nursing and communications.
This is the tenth year CRC has offered a scholarship program to local graduates. In October 2017, students in the communities in which CRC has offices—Austin, Dunlap, and Abilene—were invited to apply for a 2017 CRC scholarship. The scholarship recipients were selected in May.

Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to community are to be commended.”
