When selecting each year’s scholarship recipients, CRC looks not only at the academic achievements of each applicant, but also his or her school and community involvement activities.

“This year we received a number of excellent applications for our scholarship program,” said Chris Holt, CRC’s president and CEO. “Although it’s always difficult to narrow the candidate field to six recipients, we believe the candidates chosen for this year’s scholarships represent not only high academic standards, but just as importantly a commitment to giving back to their school and their community.

In November 2014, students in the communities in which CRC has offices—Austin, Dunlap, and Abilene—were invited to apply for a 2015 CRC scholarship. The scholarship recipients were selected in May.
