In a competitive marketplace with a limited workforce, most companies strive to be the place that people want to work. That is certainly CRC’s goal and we work very hard to attract the best employees. Those efforts have been recognized recently by Southeast Minnesota Workforce Development, Inc., in Rochester, Minnesota, which has named CRC as one of the Best Places Work in Southeast Minnesota. This is the ninth consecutive year CRC has received this honor.
Recently Workforce Development identified and announced 12 companies in the Southeast Minnesota area as the best businesses to work at for 2021. Companies were divided into either small- (under 75 employees), medium- (75-200 employees), or large- (over 200 employees) sized categories. CRC’s Austin Center fell into the medium-sized category.
“In a year that presented new and unprecedented challenges, CRC is particularly proud of our ability to pivot as an essential business, while still maintaining our level of employee focus,” said Nancy Morrison, vice president, human resource development. “We were challenged to do things with regard to employee acquisition, retention, and training that stretched our creativity and our resources. We are very proud to have risen to the challenge, alongside other great companies and to be recognized with this award once again.”
Each company that participated in the program was required to complete a 40-question survey that allowed their employment practices to be analyzed by Personnel Dynamics Consulting, a Florida-based consulting firm. Some of the attributes that have made CRC a stand out for this honor are its employee benefit program, employee growth, percentage of employees promoted, bonus program, annual increases in pay, and its focus on training and wellness.
