Way to go to David Sollie, CSR 4 at CRC's Austin, Minn., office, who was selected as CRC’s December 2021 Employee of the Month/STAR Award recipient.

Sollie, who has worked for CRC for five years, received a STAR Award card in December recognizing him for following up with 911 services with regard to a wellness check for a caller possibly exposed to carbon monoxide. Sollie advised the disorientated caller to leave the property for safety. He then worked with the utility’s gas technician and a 911 dispatcher to ensure the caller was taken care of. In his efforts, Sollie demonstrated CRCs values of teamwork, communication, and service excellence.

“We appreciate David’s quick thinking and concern for this caller,” said Kerry Wylie, senior contact center manager at the Austin Center. “During a difficult call, David remained calm and professional to ensure the caller was safe and taken care of by the proper authorities. Thank you for taking the extra steps needed to ensure the caller was safe.”

In recognition of being a CRC Employee of the Month, Sollie will receive four hours of PTO or a CRC-logoed clothing item valued up to $50.
