CRC Welcomes Miami-Cass REMC to its Membership

Cooperative Response Center, Inc. (CRC) is pleased to welcome Miami-Cass REMC of Peru, Indiana, to its membership. Miami-Cass REMC is a member-owned electric distribution cooperative serving 6,000 meters in northern Indiana.

CRC offers utilities across the country seamless contact center and alarm monitoring solutions, including call management, line crew dispatch, AMI/CIS/OMS integration, CRCLink® outage communication software, and alarm monitoring. CRC also offers outage texting services, video monitoring of substations and recently implemented a Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance solution which utilizes live agents for billing calls. From outage calls to billing calls, disconnects to emergency locates and more, CRC is there for its membership 24/7/365. By partnering with CRC, members find peace of mind as well as a cost-effective solution to their call handling needs.

Miami-Cass REMC joined CRC’s membership in February 2015, subscribing to CRC’s contact center dispatch services which include inbound call management as well as dispatching of line crews. Rob Schwartz, CEO at Miami-Cass REMC, notes it was CRC’s commitment to and experience with the cooperative industry that makes the new partnership a successful one.

“We here at Miami-Cass REMC are very pleased to now be a part of the CRC family,” Schwartz said. “CRC has shown a professionalism that is expected from a cooperative. They made the transition from our former call service very easy and seamless and offered new services that help us serve our members to the highest degree.”

Chris Holt, CRC’s president and CEO, is happy that CRC meets the needs of Miami-Cass REMC and its membership. “Like any cooperative, we pride ourselves on providing service excellence to our membership,” Holt said. “We appreciate partnering with Miami-Cass REMC to serve their members.”
