Cooperative Response Center, Inc. (CRC) is pleased to welcome Kittitas PUD of Ellensburg, Washington, to its contact center membership. Kittitas PUD is a public utility district serving over 4,000 meters in central Washington.
CRC offers utilities across the country seamless contact center and alarm monitoring solutions, including call management, line crew dispatch, AMI/CIS/OMS integration, CRCLink® outage communication software, and alarm monitoring. CRC also offers dynamic greetings, outage texting services, video monitoring of substations, a Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance solution which utilizes live agents for billing calls, and English proficiency translation services. From outage calls to billing calls, disconnects to emergency locates and more, CRC is there for its membership 24/7/365. By partnering with CRC, members find peace of mind as well as a cost-effective solution to their call handling needs.
Kittitas PUD joined CRC’s membership in May 2019, subscribing to its energy dispatch contact center services which include inbound call management as well as dispatching of line crews. Since joining CRC, Kylee Reuble, project facilitator at Kittitas PUD, said the utility especially appreciates CRC’s assistance with the utility’s outage call handling needs.
“Having all our outage calls go to CRC 24 hours a day keeps our phone lines open for payment and every day regular customer business,” she explained. “Our customers have benefited from this greatly as we are a small public utility and only have the need for two CSRs daily. In the past, handling outage calls has crippled us.”
Chris Holt, CRC’s president and CEO, is happy to hear CRC’s services make life easier for the staff at Kittitas PUD. “For 27 years, CRC has worked closely with utilities to provide them with specialized services to meet their needs,” he said. “In 1992, CRC was created by a group of utilities that struggled to provide good customer service because they were overwhelmed with incoming calls. We’re always pleased when we hear our assistance has made life easier for the employees at the utilities we partner with.”
