Austin, Minn. – Cooperative Response Center, Inc. (CRC) is proud to announce that Tracey Crews, central station lead operator at its Austin, Minn., facility, was awarded the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) Central Station Operator of the Year on Wednesday, June 25, in Nashville, Tenn.
CSAA held their 9th Annual CSAA Excellence Awards Breakfast at the Electronic Security Exposition (ESX) show in Nashville on Wednesday, where the award was announced. Sponsored by SDM Magazine, the CSAA Excellence Awards recognize outstanding FM Global, Intertek/ETL or Underwriter Laboratories (UL)-listed central stations and their personnel. As a CSAA member and a UL-listed central station, CRC was eligible to submit nominations for the following categories: CSAA Central Station Operator of the Year, CSAA Central Station Support Person of the Year, CSAA Central Station Manager of the Year, and CSAA Central Station of the Year. CRC submitted nominations in all categories, with qualifying criteria including technical knowledge, leadership, job performance and community involvement. In addition to Crews’ achievement, CRC’s Central Station Manager Randy Ambrus was named as one of three finalists for Central Station Manager of the Year.
“CRC is very honored to have two of its employees selected for this important recognition,” said Chris Holt, CRC’s president and CEO. “Their contributions to our organization are very significant and they are certainly deserving of this acknowledgement at a national level.”
Crews was awarded a crystal cup trophy for her award. Crews and Ambrus will also be recognized in the next issue of CSAA’s quarterly publication.
