Congratulations to Candice Barker, CSR 4 at CRC's Dunlap, Tenn., office, who was selected as CRC’s December 2017 Employee of the Month/STAR Award recipient. Barker, who has worked for CRC for nearly three years, received five STAR Award cards in December recognizing her for a presentation she created explaining the basics of electricity. The presentation, which includes industry terminology and a simplified explanation of how electricity gets from a power plant to the consumer, is a great training tool for her fellow coworkers. The presentation has been added to CRC’s E-Learning site for reference. In her efforts, Barker demonstrated CRC’s values of member driven, employee-focused, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
“We’re really pleased that Candice took the initiative to develop this employee training,” said Kellee McAnally, contact center manager at the Dunlap Center. “We regularly deal with electricity-related calls. Candice’s presentation gives us a visual of how power gets from the power plant to homes and includes a good overview of the terminology we hear on a day-to-day basis.”
In recognition of being a CRC Employee of the Month, Barker received four hours of PTO.
