As OMS technology advances, CRC continues to enhance the services available to its members. Through OMS integration, CRC offers a smart outage communication tool called dynamic greetings. This feature uses OMS predictions to tailor front-end greetings, providing caller-specific messages instead of a general utility-wide message.

For instance, if an outage affects part of a service territory, callers predicted to be impacted will hear a message specifically addressing their situation. All other callers will receive the utility’s standard incoming call message.

While CRC prioritizes live agent responses for every call, dynamic greetings play a crucial role during periods of high call volume. This technology helps expedite service by delivering essential information directly to callers, minimizing hold times and preventing call blocks. By quickly addressing callers’ needs, dynamic greetings improve the overall call experience and ensure efficient communication during outages.
