CRC is pleased to recognize Dan Weckwerth, network engineer at the Austin Center, as its December 2025 Employee of the Month.
On Christmas morning, two of our contact center members experienced issues with their toll-free lineman check-in numbers. Without hesitation, Weckwerth stepped in to help. He left his family’s holiday celebration, went home, and quickly created local check-in numbers so those utilities could continue communicating with CRC without interruption.
Because of Weckwerth's swift action, operations for those members continued smoothly during a critical time. His efforts ensured the utilities had the support they needed when reliability is especially important.
“Dan’s response that morning speaks volumes about who he is and the pride he takes in his work,” said Jeff Hanson, vice president, information technology. “His experience and calm approach made all the difference for our members. We’re extremely grateful for his dedication.”
