Congratulations to DeVon Kuphal, CSO 2 at the Austin Center, who was recently selected as CRC’s May 2019 Employee of the Month/STAR Award recipient. Kuphal, who has worked for CRC for nearly 15 years, received two STAR Awards cards in May recognizing her for her actions when there was a software technical issue in Central Station. With no manager in the office, Kuphal took charge and called the software provider to troubleshoot the problem until it was resolved. In her efforts, Kuphal demonstrated CRC’s values of teamwork, communication, member driven, and service excellence.

“DeVon took charge during a difficult situation and stuck to it until the problem was solved,” said Randy Ambrus, central station manager. “DeVon played a big part in the solution to such a rare problem and we appreciate her quick-thinking and efforts to get everything up and running again.”

As Employee of the Month, Kuphal will receive four hours of PTO, a framed certificate, and recognition on CRC’s Intranet site, Facebook page, and employee newsletter.
