Congratulations to April Duke, CSR 1 at CRC's Abilene, Texas, office, who was recently selected as CRC’s May 2024 Employee of the Month/STAR Award recipient. Duke, who has worked for CRC for over two years, received a STAR award card in May recognizing her for her work on a very difficult call involving a co-op member threatening to harm himself over the stress of having his home’s electric shut off due to nonpayment. Duke handled the call like a pro, using compassion and quick thinking to resolve the issue. The cooperative was impressed by how Duke expertly handled the challenging call, with the situation being resolved successfully in the end. In her efforts, Duke reflected CRC’s values of member driven, service excellence, and communication.
