Jacobson Named March 2017 Employee of the Month

Congratulations to Laura Jacobson, central station coordinator at the Austin Center, who was recently selected as CRC’s March 2017 Employee of the Month. Jacobson received three STAR Award cards in March for her work during an AT&T outage issue CRC experienced early in the month. With the central station manager out of the office, Jacobson took control of a very chaotic and stressful situation. She worked with our membership, the CSOs working that day, the IT Department, and other managers in an effort to minimize the phone and Internet down time. In her efforts, Jacobson demonstrated CRC’s values of member driven, service excellence, communication and teamwork.

“Laura is consistently a pro in her role at CRC,” said Randy Ambrus, central station manager. “March 2 was a very stressful day when AT&T experienced a network outage, greatly affecting CRC’s operations. Laura calmly handled the situation in the central station, clearly communicated to management, staff, vendors and dealers the issues that were occurring, and helped troubleshoot to help minimize phone and Internet down time. We appreciate Laura’s ability to lead others during a difficult situation and her quick-thinking skills, all while maintaining a positive attitude and sense of humor.”

In recognition of being a CRC Employee of the Month, Jacobson received four hours of paid time off (PTO). Jacobson is also eligible for consideration for CRC’s 2017 Employee of the Year, which will be selected by CRC’s management team in late January 2018.
