CRC is pleased to announce that Shannon Lowe, CSR 1 (and soon to be CSO 1) at the Austin Center, was selected as its July 2015 Employee of the Month. Lowe, who has worked for CRC for nearly two years, was nominated for her work assisting a distraught caller who was having problems with her electricity. The caller was so relieved by Lowe's and the line crew’s help that she contacted the co-op to thank them. Lowe was then recognized with a letter from the cooperative's CEO thanking her for her work. In her efforts, Lowe demonstrated CRC’s values of member driven, communication, and teamwork.

“Shannon’s compassion in conjunction with assistance from our member’s line crew personnel gave this particular consumer peace-of-mind in a stressful situation,” said Kerry Wylie, senior contact center manager at CRC’s Austin Center. “The teamwork represented here epitomizes the true meaning of our tagline ‘Focusing on the Human Side of Technology.’”

In recognition of being a CRC Employee of the Month, Lowe will receive a CRC-logoed clothing item valued at $50. Lowe is also eligible for consideration for CRC’s 2015 Employee of the Year, which will be selected by CRC’s management team in late January 2016
