Austin, Minn. – Cooperative Response Center, Inc. (CRC) is pleased to announce that Kevin Murphy, president of Southwest Tennessee EMC based in Brownsville, Tenn., was appointed to CRC’s Board of Directors after its February 22, 2015, board meeting.
Murphy, who has worked in the electric utility industry for 30 years, has filled the vacated district 3 board seat held by M Dale Bradshaw, CEO of Prince George Electric Cooperative in Waverly, Va. Bradshaw recently retired from his organization, making him ineligible to serve on CRC’s Board of Directors. In CRC’s Board of Directors election in May 2015, Murphy will run for re-election to the board seat to serve a three-year term.
“Mr. Bradshaw has served on CRC’s board since 2003,” said Chris Holt, CRC’s president and CEO. “His contributions, dedication, and commitment to the company will be very much missed and we wish him a long and fulfilling retirement. We look forward to working with Mr. Murphy as we continue to grow and strengthen the company.”
