Congratulations to Becky Smit, assistant controller at CRC's Austin, Minn., office, who was selected as CRC’s April 2022 Employee of the Month. Smit, who has worked for CRC for nine years, received a STAR Award card in April recognizing her for her work related to the transition to a new payroll service platform, noting that throughout the challenging process Smit has been an excellent resource for answers or for investigating solutions to any issues. In her efforts, Smit demonstrated CRC’s values of teamwork, employee-focused, and communication.
“The payroll services transition hasn’t been the smooth process we expected,” said Paul Thompson, vice president of administration/CFO. “Becky and Human Resource Department staff members have been working tirelessly to complete the transition. Becky is a natural problem solver and has gone to great lengths in the process to make sure everyone’s questions are answered. A contact center supervisor recognized Becky’s dedication to help make the payroll process easier with a STAR Award card. All of us can appreciate Becky’s work to make sure we get paid on time! Thanks, Becky, for your diligence on making the transition as seamless as possible for employees.”
In recognition of being a CRC Employee of the Month, Smit will receive four hours of paid time off (PTO). She is also eligible for consideration for CRC’s 2022 Employee of the Year which will be selected by CRC’s management team in January 2023.
