CRC is happy to announce that Ross Trotterchaude, CSR 1 at CRC's Austin, Minn., office, was selected as its August 2018 Employee of the Month.
Trotterchaude received a STAR Award card in August recognizing him for his handling of a survey call where the survey respondent was threating suicide. Trotterchaude worked with others to determine the respondent’s location and to contact the correct authorities, all the while keeping the caller on the line until help arrived. In his efforts, Trotterchaude demonstrated CRC’s values of member driven, communication, service excellence, and teamwork.
“Ross really showed grace under pressure when what was supposed to be a typical survey call turned into much more,” said Kerry Wylie, senior contact center manager at the Austin Center. “Ross had the difficult task of getting location information from the person-in-need and avoid having the call disconnected. Thanks to Ross’s quick thinking, he was able to keep the person on the line until emergency personnel arrived.”
In recognition of being a CRC Employee of the Month, Trotterchaude will receive four hours of PTO. He is also eligible for consideration for CRC’s 2018 Employee of the Year, which will be selected by CRC’s management team in late January 2019.
