Stephanie Ulland, floor lead at our Austin, Minnesota, office, was recently named CRC’s November 2022 Employee of the Month. Ulland, who has worked at CRC for nearly five years, helped out a new CSR who was talking with a suicidal caller negatively affected by a power outage. She guided the CSR on what to say and then worked behind the scenes to contact the caller’s local sheriff’s department to let them know someone in their community was in need of help. In her efforts, Ulland demonstrated CRC’s values of teamwork, member driven, employee focused, service excellence, and communication.
“We appreciate Stephanie’s take-charge attitude in this instance,” said Kerry Wylie, senior contact center manager at the Austin Center. “Getting a call like this is daunting for any of our employees. Stephanie handled this situation like a pro, not only setting a great example for a new CSR but making sure someone in distress got the help they needed. Well done, Stephanie!”
In recognition of being a CRC Employee of the Month, Ulland will receive four hours of PTO or a CRC-logoed clothing item valued up to $50. Stephanie is also eligible for consideration for CRC’s 2022 Employee of the Year, which will be selected by CRC’s management team later this month.
