CRC is pleased to announce that Michelle Christgau, CSO 2 at the Austin Center, was recently named CRC’s October 2016 Employee of the Month. Michelle, who has been with CRC for four years, received two STAR Award cards in October for her work dispatching emergency personnel to a house fire. After additional alarms were sounded and further work on Michelle’s part, it was determined the homeowner was still home but couldn’t hear the alarm. Her quick response may have saved the homeowner’s life. In her efforts, Michelle demonstrated CRC’s values of service excellence, communication and member driven.
“As an alarm monitoring center, we’re used to dealing with emergencies every day,” said Randy Ambrus, central station manager. “But in this situation, Michelle’s quick thinking helped emergency personnel locate a person in danger, which may not have happened otherwise because it appeared no one was home. Many thanks to Michelle for her forethought and follow through.”
In recognition of being a CRC Employee of the Month, Michelle will receive a CRC-logoed clothing item valued up to $50. She is also eligible for consideration for CRC’s 2016 Employee of the Year, which will be selected by CRC’s management team in late January 2017.
