Austin, Minn. – The beginning of 2022 kicked off a major milestone for Cooperative Response Center, Inc. (CRC) – its first group of employees in Kirksville, Missouri, started training in preparation of the opening of CRC’s fourth regional contact (call) center. CRC provides 24/7 contact center support services to over 450 electric utilities nationwide. With locations already in Minnesota, Tennessee, and Texas, CRC’s fourth site will complement its existing workforce and allow for additional redundancy in its business operation. Currently 17 people have been hired to fill customer service representative positions for its newest location in northeast Missouri. CRC has purchased a facility in Kirksville and plans to remodel it prior to its occupancy. In the interim, CRC is training staff at the local community college and having the new employees work remotely until the remodeling is completed. Recruitment for additional staff will be ongoing. “We’re excited to be a part of the Kirksville community,” said Chris Holt, president and CEO of CRC. “As we welcome our new teammates, we look forward to the opportunities of opening a fourth location offers not only to CRC but to the support to our membership.” About CRC CRC is a nationwide, cooperatively owned, 24/7 contact center and alarm monitoring center. Founded in 1992, CRC has steadily increased the size and scope of its operation with offices in Austin, Minn., Dunlap, Tenn., and Abilene, Texas.
