CRC Welcomes Columbia Rural Electric Association to its Membership

Cooperative Response Center, Inc. (CRC) is pleased to welcome Columbia Rural Electric Association in Dayton, Washington, to its membership. Columbia REA is a member-owned electric distribution cooperative serving over 5,000 meters in southeastern Washington.

CRC offers utilities across the country seamless contact center and alarm monitoring solutions, including call management, line crew dispatch, AMI/CIS/OMS integration, CRCLink® outage communication software, and alarm monitoring. CRC also offers outage texting services, video monitoring of substations and recently implemented a Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance solution which utilizes live agents for billing calls. From outage calls to billing calls, disconnects to emergency locates and more, CRC is there for its membership 24/7/365. By partnering with CRC, members find peace of mind as well as a cost-effective solution to their call handling needs.

Columbia REA joined CRC’s membership in May 2015. By joining CRC’s membership, Columbia REA has experienced a true partnership that has benefitted both the cooperative and its consumers.

“CRC has provided a significant service improvement to our members who can now pay their bills or check their balance over the phone at any time,” Said Scott Peters, manager of marketing and member services at Columbia REA. “Plus, they have simplified the job of our on-call duty officers by entering calls directly into our OMS system. I wish we would have made the switch years ago.”

Chris Holt, CRC’s president and CEO, is pleased to welcome Columbia REA to CRC’s membership. “We try very hard at CRC to work as a seamless extension of our members’ offices,” said Holt. “When we’re able to offer the tools and services necessary to make things better for their employees and consumers, all the better. We look forward to a long partnership with Columbia REA.”
