Congratulations to Laura Mellang, central station coordinator at CRC’s Austin Center, who was recently selected as CRC’s May 2015 Employee of the Month/STAR Award recipient. Mellang received two STAR Awards cards in May for her help in solving issues related to one of the department's software products. Mellang came to work on a day she was on PTO to help solve the problem. Her calm demeanor and leadership of others was also appreciated. In her efforts, Mellang demonstrated CRC’s values of member driven, service excellence, communication, and teamwork.

“Laura consistently goes above and beyond in her role at CRC,” said Randy Ambrus, CRC’s central station manager. “Her dedication to the success of the central station is clear and we appreciate her and the department’s efforts to resolve the software’s issues as quickly as possible.”

As Employee of the Month, Mellang received four hours of PTO, a framed certificate, and recognition on CRC’s Intranet site, Facebook page, and employee newsletter.
