Congratulations to Laura Penrod, central station coordinator at the Austin Center, who was recently selected as CRC’s March 2023 Employee of the Month.

Penrod, who has worked for CRC for 24 years, was recognized by her manager who was out of the office for an extended period of time. During his absence, Penrod handled some extremely challenging issues, including problems with the phone system. Penrod contacted all of our vendors and managed the problem until it was resolved. In her efforts, Penrod demonstrated CRC’s values of teamwork, member driven, service excellence, and communication.

“Laura really did a terrific job solving some phone issues when I was on vacation,” said Randy Ambrus, central station manager. “You proved that you’re not just a reliable employee, but a true leader who can take charge and get things done when it matters most. You are a real asset to the team and we all appreciate your great work.”
